Privacy Policy
MirrorMaze is a free browser game in which you guide a reflection orb through a labyrinth of mirror shards. This policy explains what we see reflected back when you play.
1. Information We Collect
Our data collection is as clear and minimal as a polished mirror. We may receive:
- Standard browser request headers transmitted automatically — your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and referrer URL.
- Your personal best shard count, saved only in your browser's local storage and never sent beyond your device.
- Completely anonymous aggregate session counts that cannot be used to identify any individual player.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use data only to keep the maze intact, replace broken panes (fix bugs), and understand general play patterns. No advertising, no profiling, and no data sales.
3. Local Storage and Cookies
Your record is held in local browser storage only. Clear browser data and the reflection vanishes — we retain no server copy.
4. Third-Party Services
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts via a standard browser HTTP request. No other external services are part of MirrorMaze.
5. Children's Privacy
MirrorMaze contains no violent content, no gambling, and no in-app purchases. The orb simply stops when it contacts a mirror shard barrier. Suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13.
6. Data Retention
Any server-side log files are kept only as long as operationally necessary and are then deleted. Local gameplay data is governed entirely by your own browser settings.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold. Please reach us through our website's contact form.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical precautions to data we handle. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be revised at any time. The updated date at the top reflects the latest version. Continuing to play constitutes acceptance.
